EV training in HeartGold is being as easy to do as in Platinum, giving that for some reason the random encounters ratio is higher (I don't use the Vs. Seeker to EV train) and the battles end faster. There are quite a good number of areas with Pokémon under Lv. 10 that have species with a high encounter rate, so in most cases you can consistently find the Pokémon you're defeating without waiting too much time in the process (almost as if the Poké Radar existed in this game).About the Exp. earning, I still consider the Vs. Seeker the superior feature, though I'm becoming accustomed to the PokéGear.
